Impression: Huppendorfer Winter Weizen is Brauerei Grasser’s Fest Weizen. It’s only available in the colder months and had eluded me until picking this up recently. It’s got a lovely unfiltered amber hue and off-white creamy head. The fruity nose has some yeast with none of the banana element overpowering many. The palate is much the same and the lingering finish is semi-dry. I would say I like their Weizenbock and regular Weizen more. Perhaps a Dunkelweizen would be more appropriate.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
