Color: in krug so no visuals but unfiltered amber
Head: off-white, thinning
Nose: malty, spicy hops
Body: full, soft
Palate: balanced, richly malty, underlying spicy hops
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: gravity dispense at their 1st Bockbieranstich in 2025.

Impression: Brauerei Krug Bockbier is the Geisfeld brewery’s latest creation. Served from gravity dispense at their 2025 Bockbieranstich, it was a lovely balanced quaffable strong dark brew with a soft but full mouthfeel. The nose had some spicy hops which returned mid-way through in the otherwise richly malty palate. It’s not a contemplative beer so it’s perfect for a festival!
