Brauerei Haberstumpf
Brauerei Haberstumpf Hahn Zwergla

Brewery: Haberstumpf
Town: Trebgast

Style: Festbier 5.4%

Color: unfiltered light amber

Head: off-
white, creamy,
Nose: light mix of grain and hops

Body: medium

Palate: balanced,
hoppy, malty, grainy
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: Brauerei Haberstumpf Hahn Zwergla was only available in bottles in their Biergarten. Despite a self pour it was unimpressive. It was nonetheless a balanced Festbier with perhaps the driest palate of all beers sampled but it was lacking something somewhere in the overall profile. I’m glad I sampled it and would gladly try again if on tap.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
