Kommunbrauhaus Junkersdorf Weisach brewed a special Maibock for their May 1st Festival, which they served from gravity dispense.

Kommunbrauhaus Junkersdorf Maibock
Brewery: Kommunbrauhaus Junkersdorf
Town: Junkersdorf (an der Weisach)
Style: Maibock 8%
Color: in Krug but unfiltered amber
Head: white, dense, rocky
Nose: fruity, hint of grain
Body: medium to full
Palate: fruity, balanced, hoppy
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: from gravity dispense at the brewery’s May 1st Fest
Impression: Gorgeous low carbonation high octane Maibock with a balanced fruity palate and a lingering, dry, semi-bitter finish. This is one dangerously drinkable Bock, especially at 8%. This was a case of not having enough time to have another. Otherwise, I think I, along with my friends, would have had one. In fact, I may have just stayed there and not gone to the next two Fests on the agenda that day.
