Hütt’n Hausbräu Hell

Brewery: Rittmayer for Wirtshaus Hütt’n
Town:
Hallerndorf
Style: Helles
5.2%
Color: unfiltered golden

Head: off-white
, creamy
Nose: light mix of malt and hops

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, grainy, underlying hops

Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at the Wirtshaus Hütt’n in Nürnberg

Impression: This Helles is brewed by Rittmayer Hallerndorf and is the least interesting of the three Hausbiers. If all you drink is light beer, this balanced brew will do the trick. It’s got a zesty element and a lingering semi-dry, semi-bitter finish. Not something to go out of your way for but the food is good and it’s a good with food beer.

Next beer or back to the beer list.

  1. I just ate and drank at this location in December. And I have that same picture on my phone. lol. Also had the dunkel and I agree with your review on both beers (didn’t try the red).

    1. Fave was the Pyraser Kellerbier, a brewery I also sort of avoided for some odd reason. I’ll be seeking more of them out. They oddly use screw cap plastic bottles!
