Dreykorn Edel Pils

Lauf an der Pegnitz

%
Color: golden

Head: white
, creamy
Nose: grainy

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, grainy, citrusy, hoppy

Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at the Bierwerk in Nürnberg

Impression: This was surprisingly a filtered golden Pils. I’d seen a quite a few unfiltered yellow beers but they must have been the Bierwerk Blond. Oddly enough, it was called Herbie on the chalkboard but not with the Bierwerk monkier, maybe next time. This was a bit fizzy but certainly a nice dry hoppy Pils with a nice citrusy hops element. It had the cleanest and driest finish of the lot but it was also one of the least interesting. I’ll try the Blond next time.
