Impression: I missed my train so how could I resist? I’d heard of Der Bräu from Rome’s Franconian beer impresario Manuele Colona but its infrequent opening hours put it on the back shelf. This particular Heimat Seidla Project uses all local ingredients with the locally grown malt processed at Lindenbräu’s malting in nearby Gräfenberg. I didn’t get a chance to savor it properly due to time constraints but it was a nice looking deep golden brew with a rich malty palate and lingering semi-dry finish. Glad I got it once I read about its limited availability.
