Bürgerbräu Hersbruck Edel-Pils
Brewery: Bürgerbräu Deinlein & Co.
Town: Hersbruck
Style: Pils 4.8%
Color: golden
Head: white, creamy
Nose: Hersbrucker hops, malty, small hint of butter
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, malty, Hersbrucker hops, touch of integrated butter
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at the Brauhaus Hersbruck
Impression: I’m glad I saved this unsurprisingly hoppy Pils for last. Though there’s a slight hint of butter in both the nose and palate, it’s my favorite of their beers due to its prominent and rightful display of Hersbrucker hops. Though served in a.4l glass, it would be easy to session on this dry but not overly bitter Pils.
