Waldschloss Bräu Kellerbier

Waldschloss Bräu Kellerbier

Brewery: Waldschloss Bräu
Town: Frammersbach
Style: Kellerbier 5.1
Color: unfiltered golden

white, creamy
light grain
Body: medium
Palate: malty, light grain, peppery hops, hint of integrated butter
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, slight bitterness

Served: from the tank at the Waldschloss Bräustübl

Impression: Gorgeously refreshing looking Kellerbier with a light grainy nose and balanced palate of grain and hops. The lingering finish is semi-dry with just a hint of bitterness. Much better with food, the peppery element of the hops is more pronounced. The bottle I brought home looked a lot less cloudy and I have a few for friends as well. I’m looking forward to hearing their impressions.
