Impression:
A gorgeous pour with a massive chiffon like head. It’s been a long time coming to finally get to sample an Unfinden beer but the door to the communal breweries of Lower Franconia is open. I sampled their Bock first and quite liked it. This Hausbier is in the Fest direction with a richly malty palate with some spice in the mix. It’s fruity and refreshing as well and though the hops are subdued, they dry things down enough in the lingering semi-dry finish. The bottle is about six weeks past due but seems in decent shape.
