Brauerei Ott Festbier

deep golden beer in glass with bottle
Brauerei Ott Festbier

Brewery: Ott
Town:
Oberleinleiter
Style: Festbier 5.7%

Color: deep golden to pale amber

Head: off-
white, rocky
Nose: richly malty, nice mix of light hops and spice
Body: full

Palate:
richly malty, hint of spice, underlying hops
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, bittersweet

Served: from a bottle bought in Bayreuth

Impression: Gorgeous pour with ample rocky head and enticing pale amber hue. There’s a hint of spice in the richly malty nose. The flavor follows suit with a nice undercurrent of hops to dry it out in the bittersweet finish. Hellerbock with a bit of individuality. Nice.
