Nose: rich malt, dried fruit, apricot, fine hopping
Body: full
Palate: balanced, fruity, fine hops, hint of roast
Finish: long, semi-dry, bittersweet

Served: from gravity dispense at Der Pelikan Best of Bock 2023

Impression: Nice to finally get this gravity dispensed. A rich unfiltered amber brew with a mixed nose of dried fruit and hops. This is a marvelously crafted Bock with the kind of balance most lack while fully embracing the richly malty palate the style is defined by. The hopping is there from the start but never intrudes. This gravity version is a touch drier in the finish.
