Impression: I’d read a bit about Häffner’s sideline brewery Hopfenstopfer and though intrigued, I wasn’t about to plonk down five Euros for a small bottle at their pub. So, I was happy to find bottles of four of their Craft Beer offerings at a fraction of the price, including this single hop Citra Ale. Brewed with Citra, this is more in the piney US IPA mood than the Monroe Pale Lager I sampled first. Its just as balanced and perhaps has a more pronounced flavor but think I liked the Lager more.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
