Düll Krautheimer Kellerbier

Brewery: Düll
Town:
Krautheim
Style: Kellerbier 4.9
%
Color: unfiltered amber

Head: off-
white, creamy
Nose: malty, hint of white pepper

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, white pepper, fairly dry
Finish: lingering, semi-dry

Served: on tap at the Krautheimer Biergarten

Impression: This was one of the first bottled beers I got from them and the white pepper element threw me off but eventually came to like it. This version on tap has a much more integrated white pepper and spicy element which blends in well with the balanced semi-dry, semi-bitter finish. Better than expected. It was the only beer I had two of at the Biergarten and turned out to be my favorite

Next beer or back to the beer list.

    1. I had to check with other online reviews and it was quite common for their beers. I found it more subdued at the Biergarten with the beers on tap, hence my doing second reviews. It’s that time of year, finally some time get caught up with my material!
