Zum Löwenbräu 1747 Original on tap

Brewery: Brauerei Zum Löwenbräu
Neuhaus (Adelsdorf)
Helles/Kellerbier 4.9%
unfiltered golden
white, rocky, chiffon-like
Nose: light grain, hoppy

Palate: balanced, fruity, hoppy, dry

Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at the Brauereigasthof

Impression: This was a great looking pour with an ample rocky head and a nice mix of grain and hops in the nose. It’s a really great session beer with a dry but balanced fruity palate featuring a touch of grain and hops. The lingering finish is moreishly dry. I first had it in a Krug at their Keller and it’s a marvelous Kellerbier. It’s pretty killer as a Helles too.
