Impression: Nice to finally get this on tap after being out of the area a couple of years during Lent. A rich unfiltered golden brew with an ample head and a mixed nose of light grain and hops. This is a marvelously crafted Bock with the kind of balance most lack while fully embracing the richly malty palate the style is defined by. The hopping is there from the start but never intrudes. It’s drying effect is subtle, sublime and moreish, making it dangerously drinkable at 7%.
