Thomann Kellerteufel
Brewery: Thomann
Town: Wiesen
Style: Kellerbier 5%
Color: unfiltered deep golden
Head: white, rocky, chiffon-like
Nose: slight grain, Spalter hops
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, dry, fruity, light grain
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: from a bottle bought at Landbier Paradies
Impression: I wasn’t sure if this was merely a bottled version of the Zwickel I had on tap at the brewery but whatever it is, it’s good. Gorgeous pour with an unfiltered deep golden hue and rocky off-white chiffon like head. Light mix of Spalter hops and grain in the nose. The palate is dry and fruity with some hops peeking through before the lingering semi-dry semi-bitter moreish finish.
