Rhönbrauerei Dittmar Rhöner Pils

golden beer with huge head in glass with bottle on farm
Rhönbrauerei Dittmar Pils

Brewery: Rhönbrauerei Dittmar
Town:
Kaltennordheim in Franconian Thuringia
Style: Pils
4.9%
Color:
golden
Head: white
, rocky
Nose: light mix of grain and hops

Body: medium

Palate:
dry, hoppy, light grain
Finish: clean, dry,  bitter

Served: from a bottle bought in Ostheim

Impression: Nice looking Pils with a rocky head and mixed nose of hops and grain. Quite the dry hoppy palate but not overly bitter either. This is the kind of beer I don’t find in the States. Very dry but not overly bitter.

Next beer or back to the beer list.

    1. Must say I’d not heard of it either, Don but that’s how I find a lot of places…looking for beer. Quite a good one so I hope to visit the town one day to see where it’s from.
