Impression: Though a fairly large and commercial for Franconia brewery, I’ve found the beers I’ve tried to be pretty good. This was a gorgeous pour with an ample head and dried fruit in the nose. It’s balanced and richly malty with a lovely dried fruit element and a lingering semi-dry, bittersweet finish. It’s a tad thinner than the best but it’s lot better than many as well.
