Impression: I got a bottle from a friend last year, not a beer you’ll find other than onsite. So, I was happy when he offered to take me out for it on tap this year. It’s a deep amber beauty with a creamy off-white head and some dried fruit in the otherwise richly malty nose. It’s a classic Fastenbock with an amber hue and richly malty fruity palate. The lingering finish is semi-dry and semi-bitter.
