Roth Helles

golden beer in pewter lidded mug with bottle
Roth Helles

Brewery: Roth
Town: Schweinfurt

Style: Helles 4.8
%
Color: golden

Head:
white, creamy
Nose: light grain

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, lightly grainy
Finish: lingering, semi-dry

Served: from a bottle bought at Sagasser in Lower Franconia

Impression: Nice looking Helles with a golden hue and creamy ample head. Not much of a nose and the palate is pretty thin as well. There’s certainly nothing off about it. The lingering finish is dry enough and it’s easy to drink but overall it’s not the tastiest beer.
