Impression: I had quite a few of their seasonal beers during COVID and this another nice one. It’s got a gorgeous amber hue and a lovely ample off-white rocky head. The nose is richly malty with some burnt caramel and light grain. The palate has a very slight touch of butter but it’s integrated. It’s not as balanced as the Märzen but the bitterness isn’t over the top. That said it’s one of their least moreish beers, especially compared to the Märzen despite the same 5.5% alcohol.
