Düll Krautheimer Landmärzen

amber beer in pewter lidded mug with bottle
Düll Krautheimer Landmärzen

Brewery: Düll
Märzen 5.6%
Color: light amber

white, creamy
Nose: malty, touch of pepper

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, spicy, hint of pepper, fairly dry
Finish: lingering, semi-dry

Served: from a bottle bought at Landbier Paradies

Impression: Nice looking Märzen from the pour with a light malty nose tinged with a touch of pepper. It’s balanced and dry for the style with a light peppery element which isn’t unpleasant and perhaps plays into the semi-dry finish. It’s unusual but not bad.  We’ll see how their more mainstream beers fare before making my way out to this tough to get to brewery.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
