Düll Krautheimer Kellerbier

Brewery: Düll
Town:
Krautheim

Color: unfiltered amber

Head: off-
white, creamy
Nose: malty, hint of white pepper

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, white pepper, fairly dry
Finish: lingering, semi-dry

Served: from a bottle bought at Landbier Paradies

Impression: Nice looking Kellerbier from the pour with a light malty nose tinged with a hint of white pepper. It’s balanced and semi-dry with a light peppery element which isn’t unpleasant and perhaps plays into the semi-dry finish. This is my second bottle from them and both with a touch of white pepper. Reviews online confirm this aspect and again not unpleasant if a bit unusual.
