Düll Krautheimer Heller Bock
Brewery: Düll
Town: Krautheim
Style: Hellerbock 7.2%
Color: deep golden to light amber
Head: off-white, rocky, creamy
Nose: richly malty, white pepper, fruity
Body: full
Palate: balanced, richly malty, fruity, light white pepper
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, bittersweet
Served: from a bottle bought at Landbier Paradies
Impression: Nice Heller Bock with an ample head and signature white pepper in the nose. This isn’t as complex as their Dunkler Doppelbock but the white pepper element blends in better. It’s quite fruity and dry for the style. The lingering finish is bittersweet but again quite dry for 7.2%.
