Impression: It’s a great looking Weizen with an ample lively head and typical banana yeasty nose. I’ve quite liked all of their beers so was looking forward to this one and it’s unlikely I’d have it on tap with their flagship so good. It’s not quite as dry as I’d hoped but it’s nicely balanced and has all the right flavors for the style. It’s certainly a fair choice for a Weißwurstfrühstück I’m enjoying but it’s not a beer I’d drink on its own. For lovers of Weissbier, it’s an easy quaffer at 5.3%.
