Impression: This was one of the beers which wasn’t on tap at the brewery so was happy to see it’s a regular offering at Eckerts. It’s listed as a Fränkisch Dunkel and has a lovely unfiltered amber hue and off-white head. The fruity nose has a hint of spice and leads to a similar and quite dry palate. The lingering finish is just a tad bitter for me but couldn’t say it’s over the top and sure many would find it appealing.
