Impression: Nice looking golden Festbier with a richly malty nose and palate. This replaces their Edel-Hell on tap in the cooler months so I’d not had it. Though this malt forward beer is well made, I’m not sure I’d trade it over the Edel-Hell as my everyday beer as a local. That said, I’d certainly welcome it as an autumn seasonal. The lingering finish seems drier than their Export but I had that a few months ago. It’s certainly worth picking up if you see it and I’d like to try it on tap if I get back there this winter.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
