Haller Löwenbräu Edelpils
Brewery: Haller Löwenbräu
Town: Schwäbisch Hall
Style: Pils
Color: light golden
Head: white, rocky, creamy
Nose: grainy, hoppy
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, hoppy, grainy
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at Brauereiausschan Zum Löwen
Impression: Nice looking Pils served in a .3l by the newbie barman. Maybe fizzier than if the regular guy had poured it but I guess you have to take breaks and let your trainee work. That said not overly so and a classic Pils with a dry hoppy palate and clean semi-bitter finish. It certainly could be the filtered version of the Zwickelbier. Confirmed with pourer, it is the unfiltered version. Both quite good.
