Impression: The person who clued me into this brewery didn’t have anything good to say about it and it’s another place which will prove difficult to get to visit. So, I was happy to find some bottles to see if it’s worth the journey. Good looking deep golden brew with a fair head and enticing grainy nose. Another one of those beers my wife so aptly describes as smelling like beer, and she means like the ingredients but come together even in the aroma. The balanced palate is pretty much the same with a pleasant graininess and underlying hops. The clean finish is just dry and bitter enough to make it moreish. This one has me looking for a way to get there.
