Dinkel Hausmasdä Pils

golden beer in pewter lidded mug with bottle
Dinkel Hausmasdä Pils

Brewery: Dinkel
Town: Stublang
Style: Keller Pils 5%
Color: unfiltered golden
Head: white, chiffon-like, rocky
Nose: grainy, light hop, mown grass
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, hoppy, grainy
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: from a bottle bought in the area

Impression: This was one long gorgeous pour with the kind of chiffon-like head every beer should have. A lot more nose than most Franconian beers with a nice mix of grain and hops. It’s fairly balanced but a true Pils in its hoppiness. The lingering finish might be bitter for some but this is a Pils damnit.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
