Adler-Bräu Stettfelder Hell

golden beer in pewter lidded mug with bottle
Adler-Bräu Stettfelder Hell

Brewery: Adler-Bräu
Town:
Stettfeld
Style: Helles 5%

Color: golden

Head: white, thinning

Nose:
malty, slight grain, grassy
Body: medium

Palate: balanced,
nice interplay of grain and hops
Finish: clean, semi-dry

Served: from bottle bought locally

Impression: I’ve liked all of their line-up so decided to give this Helles a go. Nice golden hue with a fair if dissipating head. Pleasant nose of grain and grass leads to a balanced and typical malty palate. The finish is clean and dry enough. It’s a typical Helles and a decent one but I wouldn’t seek it out in an area increasingly besieged by them. Go for their Lager if your time is limited and I found both the Zwickel and Pils more interesting than this.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
