Beck Bräu Pils
Brewery: Beck Bräu
Town: Trabelsdorf
Style: Pils
Color: golden
Head: white, rocky, creamy
Nose: faint grain, light hop
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, light grain, underlying hops, dry
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: A neighboring table’s pour got our table excited by the Pils but my pour was lackluster in comparison. That said, it was still a nice looking beer and the light grainy nose was pleasant. The balanced palate featured the same grain element along with underlying hops and was overall quite dry. The clean finish was enticingly semi-dry. This is definitely the beer to drink at their pub if in the area.
