Hauf-Pils

golden beer in log pils glass
Hauf Pils

Brewery: Hauf
Town:
Dinkelsbühl
Style:
Pils
Color: golden

Head:
white, rocky
Nose:
grainy, hoppy
Body: medium

Palate:
balanced, grainy, hoppy
Finish: clean, dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at Den Wilden Mann

Impression: Similar to the oddly named Edel-Hell, this even odder same-priced Pils is nonetheless much drier if not particularly more bitter. I think I’d prefer the Helles as a session beer but this is a Pils I could drink a few of.
