Distelhäuser Landbier

amber beer in logo glass with bottle
Distelhäuser Landbier

Brewery: Distelhäuser
Town:
Distelhausen
Style:
Landbier 5.1%
Color: amber

Head:
white, creamy
Nose:
rich malt, caramel
Body: medium

Palate:
balanced, malty, hint of caramel
Finish: lingering, semi-dry

Served: on tap at the Distelhäuser Brauhaus

Impression: Definitely not the Dunkles I was hoping for but perhaps more of a Märzen than their Märzen. It would probably be best labeled a Rotbier as it’s not quite as rich or strong. It’s nonetheless a pleasant malty brew with some light caramel notes and a lingering finish.
