Hofmühl Privat Pils on tap

Hofmühl Privat Pils

Brewery: Hofmühl
Color: yellow

Head: white
, creamy
grainy, hoppy
Body: medium

malty, grainy, hoppy
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at Brauerei-Gasthof Trompete

Impression: I wasn’t expecting much from this so got a “Pils” size despite the server offering it in a pint. Oddly enough, this might be the most quaffable of their beers. Light and hoppy without being overly bitter, it’s got the cleanest finish of the lot too. Sure, I wish I’d ordered the pint now!

Next beer or back to the beer list.

    1. Thanks for following my last brewery expedition, Don. I don’t usually put up the bottle reviews if I’ve had the tap versions but in this case, they were so different I almost had to.
