Hofmühl Dunkel
Brewery: Hofmühl
Town: Eichstätt

Nose: malty, roasty, grainy
Body: medium
Palate: malty, grainy, slight roast
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: from a bottle bought in Eichstätt
Impression: Glad I picked up a bottle of this Dunkel as it seems drier, perhaps only because its being drunk first off compared to the tap version I’d had closer to the end of the tasting session. The graininess seems more subdued with perhaps more roast. Best of all, the finish is cleaner with a bit more bitterness. I’d buy it again.
