Impression: This is one of the main beers from the Bayreuther Bierbrauerei which is linked to Maisel. Who actually brews it is anyone’s guess since they are so close to each other and are maxed out capacity-wise. It was nicely poured and a good looking beer but not overly tasty. That said, it was balanced and easy to drink with a fairly dry finish. I’d not hesitate to have it again but not sure I’d seek it out. I’d had a lot of good dark beer the previous day, maybe it was just matter of not measuring up.
