Impression:  The server was a bit rushed since my food had come out so the head wasn’t as impressive but after seeing me take a few photos, she snatched it up and topped it off. What service. This isn’t the old Becher Bräu Dunkel (from what I can tell) but it’s damn good though closer to a Southern Bavarian style. That said, it’s drier than most and better too. Lots of bitter chocolate in the malty mix but not cloying in the least. Lingering bittersweet finish makes for a quaffable dark session beer. Deceptive at 5.5%.
