Grüner Naturtrüb
Brewery: Tucher
Town: Fürth/Nürnberg
Style: Kellerbier
Color: unfiltered light golden
Head: white, rocky, lasting
Nose: citrusy hops
Body: medium
Palate: balanced, fruity, hoppy
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at the Grüner Brauhaus in Fürth
Impression: Brewed exclusively for the Grüner Brauhaus, the unfiltered version of their signature beer holds up well against its stablemates. Normally served in a Krug, I asked for a glass and its the expected honeycomb with a rocky lasting head. There’s some spicy citrus in the nose which carries over nicely to the dry balanced palate. The clean finish is moreishly dry. It would appear Tucher can brew beer when they try.
