Göller Winter Festbier
Town: Zeil am Main
Nose: richly malty, caramel
Palate: richly malty, some caramel, a touch of roast, underlying hops
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: We’ve enjoyed the Göller monthly beers and came specifically for this December entry. It’s a rare amber Festbier with some caramel notes in the nose and a richly malty but balanced palate, featuring some roast and underlying hops. The lingering finish is just dry enough to make it moreish.
