on tap at the brewery

Impression: Nice to finally get this on tap after having a bottle two years prior. A rich unfiltered amber brew with a massive head and a mixed nose of dried fruit and hops. This is a marvelously crafted Bock with the kind of balance most lack while fully embracing the richly malty palate the style is defined by. The hopping is there from the start but never intrudes. Its drying effect is subtle, sublime and moreish making it dangerously drinkable at 7%. I got to resample it on tap in 2022 and it was even better. One place which seems to get better all the time!
