Rittmayer Landbier hell
Color: in Krug so no visuals, looks golden
Body: medium, soft
Palate: malty, underlying hops, buttery
Finish: lingering, slightly bitter
Served: on tap at the Rittmayer Keller
Impression: I’d not had a chance to sample this Landbier the last time here so went it for straight off the bat. There was butter in the nose and it carried over into the palate as well. I had an experienced home brewer doing a tour with me and he said it was infected, especially once having the Kellerbier and not detecting any diacetyl. Oddly enough, we had the same beer at the Rittmayer Garten Keller later in the day and it was perfectly fine.
Next beer or back to the beer list.
