Hoh Lagerbier
Brewery: Hoh
Town: Köttensdorf
Style: Kellerbier
Color: in Krug so no visuals
Head: creamy, thinning
Nose: malty
Body: medium, low carbonation, soft
Palate: malty, underlying hops
Finish: lingering, slightly bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: It took me well over two years to get back to Hoh so expectations were high for their flagship Lagerbier. It was quite a different experience to my lone winter visit as the courtyard seating area was not only open but quite busy. It was grilled Haxen Friday. The low carbonation Kellerbier was malty without being sweet and the dry finish had just enough bitterness to make it moreish.
