Lang Pils

golden beer with huge head in logo mug
Lang Pils

Brewery: Brauerei Lang
Town:
Waltershausen
Style:
Pils
Color: golden

Head: white, rocky

Nose:
floral hops, faint grain, mown grass
Body: medium
Palate:
hoppy, slightly grainy
Finish: clean, dry

Served: on tap at the Lang Bräustüble

Impression: This was a nicely poured golden beer with a gorgeous head and floral hops in the nose. This is the driest of their beers and has the cleanest finish. It’s much better than the bottled version but probably less interesting than the Kupferbier. That said, if I were to drink one beer all night, this would likely be my choice. At 4.9%, that could be quite a few.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
