Ammerndorfer Pils

yellow beer in pils glass with logo
Ammerndorfer Pils

Brewery: Dorn-Bräu (Ammerndorfer)
Town:
Ammerndorf
Style:
Pils
Color: yellow

Head: white
, creamy
Nose: grain
y, underlying hops
Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, light grain, light hops

Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at Zur Sonne

Impression: Served in a .4l glass but at least slightly cheaper, this is another slightly drier Helles. Grain is more up front but it’s lacking the malty moreishness of the Ammerndorfer Hell. It does have a cleaner finish but I think I’d drink more of the Helles if I lived here.
