Ammerndorfer Hell

golden beer with big head in logo glass
Ammerndorfer Hell

Brewery: Dorn-Bräu (Ammerndorfer)
Color: golden

Head: white
, creamy
Nose: light grain

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, light grain, underlying hops

Finish: lingering, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at Zur Sonne

Impression:  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it took me some time to get to this Dorn-Bräu after really enjoying the one in Bruckbrg. This was a good looking golden Helles with an initial bitterness that faded into moreish maltiness. There was some grain in both the nose and palate and hops kept it honest in the lingering finish. Full-flavored at only 4.6%.
