Brewery: Ahörnla Bräu
Color: unfiltered amber
Head: off-white, creamy, thinning
Body: medium, fizzy
Palate: balanced, malty, touch of roast
Finish: lingering, semi-dry
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: This was my first and only time at the brewery’s renovated pub and found this a bit fizzy and somewhat bland but a serviceable Rotbier that’s not cloying. While I probably won’t rush back due to the brewing competition in Bamberg, it is an easy enough to drink beer with no particular faults.
