Impression: With no Annafest again this year, I’ve decided to give the bottled Annafestbiers a go. I liked Greif’s and this one is pretty good too. It’s quite malty with a little spice in both the nose and palate. The grain in the nose shows up more in the flavor as it warms. It’s quite a bit richer than its 5.3% but dries out nicely enough in the finish due to some well-buried hops. It has me looking forward to the next Annafest!
