Günther-Bräu Landbier Dunkel

dark beer with big head in glass with bottle
Günther Landbier Dunkel

Brewery: Günther-Bräu
Town: Burgkunstadt
Color: chestnut

Head: off-
white, rocky, lasting
Body: medium

Palate: balanced, malty, roasty
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: from a bottle bought locally

Impression: I liked their Maibock so much I decided when returning to the same store I’d bought it to seek out more of their lineup. This Dunkles was yet another beautiful pour with a massive tan head and roasty nose. The palate was quite roasty too with fair hopping in the dry, semi-bitter finish. Dangerous at 5.2%.
